After being absent from the scene, Pankaj Tripathi to have 7 releases this year; says, “I was also a little busy with some personal work” 7 : Bollywood News

Pankaj Tripathi has carved a nice for himself since the last decade or so. The actor has won the hearts of millions of viewers in India and outside with his versatile acting skills in a number of movies and web series. However, the actor has been lying low since some time. He has had no project releases in this year and no major announcements as well.

After being absent from the scene, Pankaj Tripathi to have 7 releases this year; says, “I was also a little busy with some personal work”

However, the Tripathi has now addressed his fans and assured that all that is going to change since he has a long list of projects coming up in the near future. Pankaj will be looking forward to seven releases this year, including Gulkanda Tales, Mirzapur 3, Oh My God 2, Fukrey 3, Murder Mubarak, Kadak Singh and Metro Inn Dino. He has already started shooting for the much-awaited Main Hoon Atal and will start shooting for Stree 2 as well.

Speaking about his absence and the reason behind it, Tripathi said in a statement, “It’s nothing like I was missing from the scene, just that there is a process to make a movie which takes time. My movies (projects) Mirzapur 3, Oh My God 2, Kadak Singh and Fukrey 3, are already in post-production and I have already started shooting for Main Hoon Atal and will start shooting for the most anticipated Stree 2. So, everything seems to be on track. I was also a little busy with some personal work. I was taking care of some of the development work in my village. So, yeah, life has been busy. I just have to wait for the right time for the movies to be out.”

Directed by Ravi Jadhav, Main Hoon Atal is the biopic on India’s former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
