Besides being an actor, Abhishek Bachchan is also a dotting brother. On multiple occasions, he has often lauded her sister Shweta Bachchan. As March 17 this year marks the 49th birthday of Abhishek’s elder sister, the Bollywood actor took to his social media handle and dropped a sweet wish for her along with a rare picture featuring young Shweta with Amitabh Bachchan and grandfather Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
For the unversed, on Friday evening, the Jhoom Barabar Jhoom actor dropped an unseen childhood picture of Shweta Bachchan. Interestingly, in the photo, little Shweta can be seen sitting on the lap of father Amitabh Bachchan. Meanwhile, the late poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, who is also her grandfather, is also seen sitting beside Amitabh. The trio can be seen attending some function when the photo was clicked.
Instagramming the throwback photo, AB wrote, “It’s the big sis’s birthday! Happy Birthday, Shwetdi. Love you,” in the caption followed by a red heart emoji. In no time, the photo took over the internet as netizens flooded the comments section with red-heart and fire emoticons. While a section of Instagrammers extended birthday wishes, a bunch of them went gaga over the photo.

Coming to the professional front, the 47-year-old actor was last seen in the latest season of Amazon Prime Video’s popular series Breathe: Into the Shadows. The series also featured Nithya Menen and Amit Sadh, and it managed to garner rave reviews. He has a bunch of projects in his kitty including the sequel of The Big Bull, along with an untitled film with director R Balki.
