Abhishek Bachchan has always expressed his pride over being the son of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. While the actor has always confessed that that his talents can never be the same as his father, recently he asserted about it once again when author Taslima Nasreen posted about his performance on her social media. Abhishek recently won the Filmfare OTT awards for Dasvi and the actor received appreciation from many fans. Taslima who did appreciate his acting chops, maintained that he may not be as good as his father.

On Twitter, Taslima Nasreen reviewed the acting performance of Abhishek Bachchan saying, “Amitabh Bachchan ji loves his son Abhishek Bachchan so much that he thinks his son inherited all his talents and his son is the best. Abhishek is good, but I do not think Abhishek is as talented as Amitji.” Agreeing to her, the star kid maintained that his father has been a legend and he will remain one. “Absolutely correct, Ma’am. Nobody comes close to him in talent or anything else for that matter. He will always remain “the best”! I am an extremely proud son.”

While co-actor Suniel Shetty dropped a heart emoji on the comment, Taslima was impressed with Abhishek’s tweet. She too appreciated Junior Bachchan saying, “I am so touched by your humility and modesty, Abhishek Bachchan @juniorbachchan Started watching Dasvi.”

For the unversed, Dasvi featured Abhishek Bachchan in the role of an uneducated politician who gets arrested for his misdeeds. He is schooled by Jailer Yami Gautam who helps him complete his high school education within prison. Also co-starring Nimrit Kaur as his wife, the film was directed by Tushar Jalota. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
