Abdu Rozik, catapulted to fame after his stint on Bigg Boss 16, recently took to social media to announce his engagement. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Abdu shared heartfelt details about meeting his fiancée, Amira and discussed their upcoming wedding plans. Abdu also revealed that Salman Khan, whom he crossed paths with during his time on the reality show, personally congratulated him on his engagement and expressed his intention to attend the wedding.

In an interview, Abdu shared that the news of his engagement was a “surprise to everyone” but “as soon as Salman bhai heard the news, he called to congratulate me.” Abdu continued, “He gave me his blessings and it means a lot to me. I look forward to having my bada bhaijaan at my wedding. My friends from Bigg Boss too like Shiv Thakare, were surprised but happy for me.”

Abdu, 20, is engaged to Amira, 19, who resides in Sharjah. He said that they met in an Italian restaurant in Dubai. “Amira is so kind-hearted, understanding, and respectful,” he said, and added, “When we talked to each other, I felt she had all the qualities I wanted in a wife. After a few months, I expressed my feelings, telling her I wanted to marry her. And she agreed.”

Abdu is yet to share the photos of his fiancé and when asked about it, he replied that he has never shared photos of his other female family members too, as they like to live a private life. “Amira and I come from a conservative culture. I’m sure people have noticed I’ve never shared my mother or sister’s pictures on social media as well. They prefer to remain private,” he said.
