A close source revealed exciting details about Junaid's role in the play, stating, “The play has multiple relationship stories and Junaid Khan is part of two of them. Both roles are poles apart. In one, which is worth immense praise, he will be seen playing a transwoman. He will be seen donning a chudidaar kameez with a wig. It is going to be performed in the evening of November 15th at Prithvi Theatre.”

Junaid Khan ventured into theatre in August 2017, making his debut under the guidance of director Quasar Thakore Padamsee, who adapted Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children. The play served as a satirical commentary on the absurdity of war.
