Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji decided to catch up with each other after quite some time and the duo also had some company in the form of newlyweds Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare. The couple tied the knot earlier this year in a lavish ceremony in Rajasthan and their wedding too saw several guests from the industry making their presence felt and blessing the couple. Now Ira took to social media to capture some fun moments with her father’s friend and colleague.
Ira Khan took to her Instagram stories to share photos with Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji. The two actors seem to have dressed casually and they were seen having a gala time together. While Aamir was dressed in comfy kurta and blue pants, Rani too looked pretty in her deglam look, comprising of a brown outfit and oversized sunglasses. Ira also shared an adorable set of photos with Mukherjee.
It is a known fact that Rani shares a great camaraderie with Aamir Khan. In fact, the actress gave her first blockbuster with Khan in 1998 with Ghulam, best known for the song ‘Aati Kya Khandala’. They later also reunited for the historical drama, set in the pre-Independence era, Mangal Pandey: The Rising in 2005.
On the work front, Rani Mukerji was recently seen in Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway which was inspired by true incidents. The film received lots of love for its emotional quotient and Rani’s performance. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan, who was on a break post Laal Singh Chaddha, will mark his return with his ambitious film Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna, which is also said to star Genelia D’Souza. Apart from that, he is also looking into the production of Lahore 1947 starring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, among others and it is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
