Following its announcement and thought-provoking teaser, Aakhri Sawal, headlined by Sanjay Dutt, has emerged as a keenly awaited film of 2026. The movie has already stirred conversations by raising serious questions surrounding historical events linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and now, its trailer is here to do the same.
The film touches upon the subjects such as the alleged RSS’ involvement in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the Babri Masjid demolition, and the Emergency, all of which have already sparked discussions among audiences. The trailer now takes things a step further, digging deep into the alleged conspiracies and unanswered questions surrounding these events while attempting to unveil hidden truths.
Sanjay Dutt stands at the centre of the narrative, delivering hard-hitting dialogues while responding to the allegations levelled against the RSS. It also has the comeback of Sameera Reddy. Actors like Namashi Chakraborty, Amit Sadh, Nitu Chandra, and Tridha Choudhury also star in this drama.
Moreover, Aakhri Sawal is breaking accessibility barriers as the first Hindi film to release with integrated Indian Sign Language (ISL) for the deaf, while also aiming for inclusive access for visually challenged audiences.
Aakhri Sawal is directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang. Presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, and co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogue are written by Utkarsh Naithani. The film is set to release in cinemas on May 15, 2026 in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
