Bollywood actor Tahir Raj Bhasin remembered the late filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar on the ninth anniversary of his film Mardaani. Taking to Instagram, Tahir posted behind-the-scenes pictures featuring Pradeep Sarkar. The pictures showed Tahir with Pradeep Sarkar, Rani Mukerji, and other co-stars from the film.

Tahir wrote in the caption, "Celebrating Mardaani's anniversary today! Lots of love to everyone who has watched, loved and written in over the years. Remembering director, maestro #PradeepSarkar who captained this ship with his palpably infectious passion and intense attention to detail."

Mardaani was a 2014 action thriller film directed by Pradeep Sarkar and starring Rani Mukerji. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it earned Tahir Raj Bhasin a lot of praise for his performance as the villain.

Pradeep Sarkar passed away this year in March at the age of 67.

Coming to the professional front, Tahir is all set to begin shooting for the second season of his Netflix show Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen. For the unversed, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, a web show, was released on Netflix in January 2022. Tahir’s co-star Shweta Tripathi had confirmed that season 2 will go on floors in the last quarter of the year during a candid interaction with Bollywood Hungama.
