Kartik Aaryan has impressed his fans with varied roles since his debut, Pyaar Ka Punchnama. In both instalments of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, the actor managed to create a niche for himself. Later, in 2018, he returned to the big screen with a bang. His film, Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety, did some amazing numbers at the box office. The bond between Sonu and Titu, played by Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh, is so relatable, fans to date make memes and relish the film. As SKTKS turned five today, Sonu and Titu celebrated the milestone.

Speaking of the film, Sunny Singh said in a statement, “Wherever I am today and the recognition and love I receive to date from the fans and even in the industry, all the credit goes only to one person- Luv Ranjan. I have learned how to grow in life, as an actor and as a person because of him. After my parents, it's Luv Sir, who has always been there.”

He further added, “I hope we celebrate the 6th, 7th or 8th successful year because it's the most special cult film. Youth has related so much with the film and they know me for my characters in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. I think this was the turning point for me. The schooling I got helped me with more films ahead. I give all the credit to Luv Sir. Every frame and every moment of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is very special for me.”

Meanwhile, Kartik shared the climax scene of the film on social media, where Titu chose Sonu over Sweety. “5 years ago this day turned into Friendship’s day / And Sonu became an inseparable part of our lives / Thank you Sonu ko apne dil se lagaane ke liye,” read his caption.

Coming to the professional front, after giving a commercial hit in 2022, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik returned to the silver screen with Shehzada. The recently released film also starred Kriti Sanon in the lead. Meanwhile, Sunny will next be seen in Adipurush, essaying the role of Laxman.
