Ajay Devgn is celebrating the success of his recently released Singham Again, which is performing well at the box office. His other film Drishyam 2 marked its two-year anniversary today. To commemorate the special milestone, the actor shared an exciting photo on social media. Fans quickly flooded the comment section, with many demanding the release of Drishyam 3.

Ajay Devgn took to his Instagram to share a photo of himself standing in front of the ‘Maha Satang’ building. He captioned the post, “Felt like going for a little gardening today…. iykyk #2YearsofDrishyam2.” Fans quickly reacted, with one commenting, “Drishyam ka part 3 kon kon chahta hai?” and another writing, “Oops, I thought Drishyam 3 is coming soon.”

Drishyam 2 featured the original cast of Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Rajat Kapoor. Akshaye Khanna was the new addition to the cast in this sequel.

Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran's film Drishyam was one of the biggest hits of 2015. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, the gripping crime thriller, which centred around the disappearance of a policewoman’s son. It kept audiences on the edge of their seats with its engaging screenplay and unforgettable dialogues.

At the trailer launch of Drishyam 2 in Goa, Ajay Devgn explained that while the essence of the original film was preserved, certain creative changes were made to introduce new characters. He said, “There were a lot of characters added, and a lot of changes made. You won’t see Akshaye’s character in the (Malayalam) film or Gaitonde (Kamlesh Sawant). So, a lot of changes have been made but like Abhishek said, keeping the soul of the film intact. So, I think, when you see the film, it’s going to be very fresh for you.”

Coming back to Rohit Shetty-directed Singham Again, the fifth film in his Cop Universe, the film has been making waves since its release. It features a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh, among others.

Singham Again went up against Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which released on the same date. Both films have shown steady growth at the box office.
