It marks 10 years since Vikramaditya Motwane-directed Lootera was released in theatres. Though it wasn't a box office success, the film went on to become one of the classics of all time in Hindi cinema. It definitely was Ranveer Singh's most cherished performance as Varun, and so was Sonakshi Sinha's Pakhi much appreciated.

Lootera follows the story of a young conman named Varun who falls in love with a woman named Pakhi (played by Sonakshi Sinha) in West Bengal. It is called their career-best performance, yet. The movie showcased Ranveer's remarkable versatility as an actor, as he flawlessly portrayed the complex and nuanced character of Varun in this adaptation of a classic novel.

Ranveer took to his social media and shared various behind-the-scenes pictures of his and the cast from the sets of the film. He also shared snaps with his director Vikramaditya Motwane as well as an unseen picture with his costar Vikrant Massey and a poster of Sonakshi Sinha from the film complimenting her performance. He also recommended the song ‘Shikayatein’ from the movie on this gloomy Wednesday morning. Along with the pictures he also called the movie Ranveer called the movie one of his most precious, loved, and cherished films. He called the movie a "timeless work of art."

Sonakshi Sinha also shared a few glimpses on her Instagram stories and wrote, "1o years of Lootera. Not a film...it's a feeling."

Vikramaditya Motwane shared an old photo and wrote, "The memories might blur with time but they will never fade way. We will always cherish them and know that something very special happened back then."

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is awaiting the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, set for July 28, 2023 release. On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha was appreciated for her recent performance in Dahaad.
