Yash Raj Films is now entering the arena of marketing its own music in the overseas territories, under its own label, Yash Raj Music. Music has always been an integral part and a major stronghold in all Yash Raj Films. It is only natural that with theatrical distribution and exhibition as well as marketing and distribution of DVDs and other home entertainment formats in the overseas territories, Yash Raj Films now ventures into the music business as well. This endeavour will commence with the music release of HUM TUM in April. The music of the film will be released in the overseas territory on the Yash Raj music label through the Yash Raj Films' offices in U.K. and U.S.A. In India, the music of HUM TUM will be released on the Saregama label as has been done with all earlier films produced by Yash Raj Films. Vijay Kumar has joined Yash Raj Films as Vice President - Home Entertainment and will coordinate the music release. HUM TUM, a Yash Chopra presentation, is produced by Aditya Chopra, directed by Kunal Kohli and stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherji in the lead. Jatin-Lalit have composed the music.
