Gaurang Doshi is slowly but surely emerging a showman and he has some ambitious plans up his sleeve for DEEWAAR. You may find this hard to believe but the enterprising producer has already booked an entire multiplex [all 4 screens] in Mumbai for the premiere of his film.
In a path-breaking development, Gaurang has decided to hold the premiere show of his Big B-Sanjay Dutt-Akshaye Khanna-Amrita Rao starrer DEEWAAR at four screens simultaneously on May 27 [the name of the multiplex has been withheld by this writer]. And what's surprising is that the premiere will be telecast live worldwide.
Meanwhile, Gaurang is boiling mad with a section of the press for spreading wrong information vis-?is the release date of the film. A few mischief makers have been spreading malicious rumours that the film has been postponed to June 11, when the fact remains that Gaurang has decided to release the film worldwide on May 28.
I am not postponing the film even by one day, an agitated Gaurang tells this writer, DEEWAAR is positively releasing on May 28. That should put all speculation to rest!
