Having started off his carrier with the TV, he went onto do some of the most memorable films, both in Bollywood as well as down south. It is his 'boy-next-door' image that has made him the superstar of the southern film industry. In Hindi, one will always recall Maddy's films like Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein, Rang De Basanti, Guru, 13 B... to name a few!
