That ace costume designer Vikram Phadnis is planning to turn director is known to all and sundry. Although Vikram revealed his desire to direct a film quite some time back, he hasnt started his film yet. Thats because Ive yet to finalize the star cast of my movie, Vikram clarifies. That shouldnt be tough, since Vikram has been designing outfits for Salman Khan and having an access to the actor wouldnt be tough. I dont think Salman will be a part of my film. Thats because he has commitments to fulfill. He has to clear the backlog and then move over to fresh assignments. I wish I could wait, but I cant, Vikram admits.
