Rumour: A few months ago, you had confirmed that you were all set to start your next film, NAAGRIK, for Jackie Shroff's production company. In fact, you even added that you were in the process of casting for the film. But there has been no news on the project thereafter. Have you dropped the project? Shashilal Nair: The question of dropping the project does not arise because only successful people have a voice in this industry. To be honest, the idea of going ahead with the film has been abandoned and it is unlikely to take off. But I am sure this low phase will pass off soon and there'll be something promising to look forward to.
