Vivek Oberoi is upset with the news published in a section of the media alleging that he addressed Amitabh Bachchan as 'dude' on the sets of KYON HO GAYA NA. In a statement to this writer, he clarifies, I have tremendous respect for Bachchan-saab. Amit-ji has been a great inspiration in my life and never in my wildest dream would I dare to address Bachchan-saab in that fashion. Vivek has also denied that he visited Cannes only to accompany Aishwarya Rai. He says that Shekhar Kapur had invited him there. Another report doing the rounds is that Yash Chopra has sacked Vivek from three of his forthcoming films. But, he adds, he has been finalised to play the lead role in Yash Chopra's new film, to be directed by Shaad Ali.
