The Bhatts and Patels of Bollywood seem to be on a tiff. And we are not talking about the industry celebrities but their respective parents.
Amisha Patel's parents Amit and Asha Patel allegedly called up Vikram Bhatt's mother Varsha Bhatt and warned her to keep her son away from their daughter. They purportedly do not approve of the friendship between Vikram Bhatt and Amisha Patel. Varsha Bhatt retorted by filing a police complaint against Amit and Asha Patel at the Versova Police Station.
And ironically this all happened when Vikram Bhatt and Amisha Patel are in Switzerland shooting for their upcoming multistarrer Elaan co-starring Mithun Chakravarthy, Rahul Khanna, Arjun Rampal, John Abraham and Lara Dutta.
Incidentally, Vikram Bhatt has worked with Amisha previously in Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage (2002) and her brother Ashmit Patel in Inteha (2003). Also Ashmit Patel's second film Murder, set for release this Friday, is produced by Vikram' uncle Mahesh Bhatt.
