Veteran actress Achala Sachdev, who is best known for her portrayal of Balraj Sahni's wife in Waqt, passed away early this morning. The actress, who was 91 years old, breathed her last at a Pune hospital.
Achala had been unwell for a while and her condition became extremely critical few days ago after which she was put on ventilator support. The actress was last seen in films like Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
