The series will trace the journey of a mother who believes in working for her kids and the society as she becomes a prominent figure, a godmother who is loved and respected by many. Talking about her role, Urvashi added that it is that of a strong, independent woman who learns to fight the world, face tribulations with courage as she is left to fend for herself and her kids after her husband leaves her mid-way. From falling prey to men's lustful motives to learning to deal with atrocities imposed by the society to raising voice for others, the show deals with the life of a woman who tries to create a space for herself in a patriarchal society.
Urvashi Sharma aka Raina Joshi tied the knot with producer-actor Sachiin Joshi in 2012 and the couple has a two year old daughter named Samaira.
