Of late, there has been tremendous speculation vis-?is the music rights of Mukta Arts forthcoming projects. With Ghai entrusting the audio rights of BADHAI BADHAI to Universal for Rs. 2.5 crores, there was talk that the maker had moved over from Tips to Universal. In the past, Tips had released the music of Ghais films, including the two releases of 2001, RAHUL and YAADEIN. However, Kumar Taurani of Tips denied that there was any rift between Mukta Arts and Tips. But Vinay Sapru, Vice-President of Universal, tells me that they have committed with Mukta Arts for their five forthcoming ventures.
