Amitabh Bachchan may be regarded as one of the strongest pillars of Indian cinema today, and now the British Asian weekly newspaper has designated the 70-year-old actor as the Greatest Bollywood Star in its survey of '100 Greatest Bollywood Stars'.
The survey was compiled via a combination of audience votes through social media, box-office figures, cinematic impact and critical acclaim. While Bachchan led the poll, he was followed by yesteryear's acting legend Dilip Kumar, while Shah Rukh Khan bagged the third spot.
