After winning the battle against censor board in Bombay High Court, Anurag Kashyap and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures were relieved that Udta Punjab was passed with just one cut. Now, two days before the release of the film, news is that Udta Punjab has leaked online.
Udta Punjab leaks online two days before the releaseWhile Udta Punjab is waiting to receive certification from CBFC, the film has made it to certain torrent websites. Some are saying that full movie is available which is 2 hours 20 minutes long while others are stating that only 40 minutes are available. The leaked copy has the scenes with 'for censor' stamp on it. The leaked copy of Shahid Kapoor starrer apparently has all the scenes that CBFC wanted to be removed from the film, including Shahid urinating scene.
Udta Punjab stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. It also marks the debut of Punjabi filmstar Diljit Dosanjh. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, it is set to release on June 17.
