The music of Karan Razdan's movie Umar, starring Satish Kaushik, Prem Chopra and Kader Khan will be definitely something to look forward to. Shamir Tandon renders music for the film and the album marks the return of Manna Dey after two decades. The album also has a nine-minute ghazal with Jagjit Singh. Apart from these veterans there is also a song Shamir has composed and conceived along with Remo Fernandes. This off beat song speaks about usage of text messages to express love, a trend very contemporary. This wacky track is expected to go on air by mid-July.
