Around a year back Pooja Bhatt had announced a film titled Cabaret to star Mallika Sherawat in the lead role. Surprisingly though when we first came across the first look of Cabaret, neither did we saw Mallika Sherawat posing for the film, nor Pooja Bhatt's name anywhere in the credits. Instead we could see Mumait Khan (Munnabhai MBBS, Lucky) on the poster. That's because Madhu Purohit of Superfine Films had illegally used the title Cabaret for their own film to be directed by Vinod Mukhi. Pooja Bhatt complained the same with AMPTPP who has immediately sent a notice to Superfine Films asking them not to use the title, as they haven't registered the same with the board. Also they have instructed Purohit to stop any further promotions of the film using the title Cabaret.
