On face-value, iDream Productions' JAJANTARAM MAMANTARAM [J2M2] does not star big stars. Nor is it directed by a maverick who has several hits to his credit. But the kind of production values the film boasts of can be compared to any big-budget film produced with top names. Also, the film has 63 minutes of special effects, which is a record of sorts. It's not a children's film, let me clarify at the very outset, Shripal Morakhia [Chairman, iDream Productions] states, It's a film that can be enjoyed by the adults as well. Aren't films like HARRY POTTER and SPIDER-MAN enjoyed by one and all? So why classify J2M2 as a kiddie fare? At the press meet of the film, the promos of this Javed Jaffrey starrer were screened for the fourth estate and the response was overwhelming. Meanwhile, iDream has sold the film for the U.K. territory for an astronomical amount. The kind of money we've fetched cannot be imagined by the commercial film-makers here, Shripal adds. Incidentally, iDream hopes to recover approx. 70% of the cost from the sales of the overseas territory itself. The film has been dubbed in English as THE POWER OF J2M2 and will be released internationally along with its Hindi version. However, the film will be released in the Hindi version in India, while the English version will be released only in Tamil Nadu along with the Hindi version.
