Ekta Kapoor's biggest hit The Dirty Picture starring Vidya Balan has been banned in Qatar due to its explicit content. The film has been deemed unsuitable for theatrical exhibition in Qatar. The makers were sent a notice saying that the movie can't be released in their country.
The Dirty Picture was earlier banned in Pakistan but it managed to release there after the makers appealed to their Censor Board.
The makers however, claim that the ban in Qatar won't make a big difference to the film's business.
