The colossal historical has started rolling and in a big way. But this was expected, wasn't it. With its first two schedules completed already, the biggest of the three Taj Mahal films Akbar Khan's magnum opus 'Taj Mahal An Eternal Love Story', is being made lavishly by the sensitive maker who is sparing no efforts to see that it turns out to be a visual treat for the audiences. The enterprising Khan has just completed two schedules at the beautiful Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur; a place he's leased out to shoot for a year. Going by the stellar performances being given by Manisha Koirala, Kabir Bedi and Arbaaz Khan, one can surely expect bigger things to come. All who've been present on the sets at Jodhpur, have been praising what they have seen, making expectations soar. (And no, Akbar Khan has not yet announced his Shahjahan and Mumtaz Mahal). 'Taj Mahal An Eternal Love Story' is of course, set in the eternally famed era of Indian history, and revolves around the universal theme of love; the undying romance of the great Emperor Shahjahan and his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. The film has been designed to cater to the Indian as well as international market. To be specific, 'Taj Mahal An Eternal Love Story' will be the first Bollywood film to be released simultaneously in Hollywood after being dubbed in English, thus effectively catering to the western audience. Great going Mr.Khan. Keep it up.
