The first promo of Kunal Kohli's Shahid Kapoor- Priyanka Chopra starrer Teri Meri Kahaani was unveiled last week and there have already been rumors doing the rounds that the film is inspired by a Taiwanese film called Three Times.
Teri Meri Kahaani has Shahid and Priyanka as star-crossed lovers who keep meeting and parting in 1910, 1960 and 2012 while the Taiwanese film too had a similar plot line with the lead actors meeting across different time spans in 1911, 1966 and 2005.
However, director Kunal Kohli, who has not seen the Taiwanese film in question, feels otherwise and believes that any similarity is purely coincidental.
