After receiving accolades and appreciation for her fabulous role as Shahid Kapoor's mother in Haider, Tabu has bagged yet another high profile film starring Ajay Devgn. Nishikant Kamat's untitled film, which is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam, a murder mystery, gets a new cop which will be played by Tabu.
The last time we saw the versatile actress holding a gun was as an ATS officer in the Yash Chopra's love story Fanaa, and now we'll get to see the actress trying to solve the murder and chasing the suspects in the upcoming suspense drama. Though the actors for two major roles in the film have been finalized, Nishikant is yet to reveal the names of the stars playing other prominent roles including Ajay Devgn's wife and daughter.
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn, who had planned to start on with Shivaay, has postponed the film owing to climate changes and has decided to start with the shoot of this Nishikant Kamat directorial. This untitled film is slated to go on floor by the end of this month and is looking for an end of 2015 release.
