Exactly a month ago, we broke the news of Tabu being approached to step in Madhuri Dixit's shoes in the UTV-backed project, directed by Somnath Sen. It may be recalled that Madhuri had opted out of the film owing to her pregnancy [the actress is expecting her second child]. At that point of time, producer Kavita Munjal had said that a decision would be arrived at once Tabu returns from the U.S. Well, it's confirmed now - Tabu has stepped in Madhuri's shoes. However, there's likely to be a change in the cast. Soha Ali Khan and Boman Irani will continue to be a part of the film, while there's a possibility that a younger hero will enact the role that was to be essayed by the Big B earlier. The producers have registered one title so far - PROFESSOR AND MUSICIAN - and there's talk that they may opt for a new title subsequently.
