Tabu and Raveena Tandon have been added to the KAANTE cast. It may be recalled that Lisa Ray was initially signed for the film. One is not sure whether Lisa remains in the film or is out. Even Shilpa Shetty was approached for the role, which Raveena has been signed for. KAANTE boasts of a huge cast, which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Lucky Ali, Mahesh Manjrekar and Kumar Gaurav. Reportedly inspired by Quentin Tarantino's Hollywood flick RESERVOIR DOGS, KAANTE is directed by Sanjay Gupta.
