Unaffected by the non-success of GAJAGAMINI, M.F. Hussain is all set to start work on his next film, DO KADAM CHALKE DEKHO. A story of three families, the ace painter cum film-maker has plans to cast Sushmita Sen in the central role this time. I met him recently and have agreed to do the film in principle. But I havent signed on the dotted line yet, Sush tells me, adding, Actually, nothing is finalised. I dont know whom he is casting opposite me or what the story of the film is all about. The grapevine is abuzz that Rahul Khanna has been pencilled for the role opposite Sush, although both Hussain and Rahul were unavailable for comment. But all said and done, its good to see Hussain back in the arena. Hopefully, with a bigger (and better?) project this time!
