Writer Anurag Kashyap may have to wait for a while to see his name in the director credits of a film. His first film Paanch still needs to see the light of the day thanks to the Censors while the release of his second film Black Friday has been stayed by the High Court. In accordance with a petition filed by a group of 1993 bomb blasts accused, the Bombay High Court has passed a stay order against the release of the film until a judgment is passed by the TADA court over the bomb-blast case. The film shows one of the accused, Mustafa Moosa Tarani, planting bombs at Worli and Zaveri Bazar areas of Mumbai. However the accused have still not been proved culpable by the court. Kashyap is dejected, confused and angry over the court's decision. However producer Arindam Mitra claims that they will appeal in the Supreme Court.
