Though Sridevi disappeared from the silver screen after English Vinglish, the actress is all set to do a Tamil film next. Titled Puli, the film is said to have Sridevi playing the role of a mother.
Announcing about the film on her Twitter handle, Sridevi said, "It gives me immense happiness to announce the title of my new Tamil film PULI. Its been a wonderful experience working with the cast & crew." Earlier we had reported that the film will also star Sudeep of Makkhi fame and it will be a fantasy adventure. However, the actress has been maintaining secrecy over the details of the film. We also hear that the film will have Hansika Motwani and Shruti Haasan in prominent roles.
Looks like Sridevi is all set for new beginnings in 2015!
