Sonu Sood, who was seen in power packed roles in films like Dabangg and Maximum, is in the news again. He has been confirmed to play the much coveted role of Sher Khan in the much talked about remake of Zanjeer. The role was essayed by the legendary Pran saab in the original version. Readers maybe aware of the fact that before Sonu coming on board, the said role was offered to Arjun Rampal who had to opt out due to date issues.
Sonu, on his part has given his confirmation to the makers, but is yet to sign on the dotted line. Talking about the role, Sonu confirmed that he's on board, but refused to give any further details. Zanjeer stars
