With films drawing inspiration from real life situations and circumstances, we hear that Soni Razdan will soon be making her next film which is based on the Nanavati murder case. Soni whose earlier attempt at direction with Pakistani actress Meera, Ashmit Patel and Koel Purie, titled Nazar, failed to make an impact, will again be holding the directorial reins.
The film in question will be produced by Pooja Bhatt's Fisheye Network and Dino Morea's Clockwork Films. As for the story, the murder case falls in the category of killing for love, when in 1959 KM Nanavati, was tried for the murder of Prem Ahuja, his wife's lover. Currently, in the process of scripting, it is learnt that the casting for the film is scheduled to begin soon. The story is being penned by Mahesh Bhatt, Selina Sheth and Soni Razdan.
