One of the biggest gangsters and on the wanted list of India is Dawood Ibrahim. The 'Don' had a huge family of twelve siblings but it was one of his sisters Haseena Parkar who has a rather interesting story to tell. Director Apoorva Lakhia is all set to put her life on the big screen and playing her role will be Sonakshi Sinha in the film Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai, produced by Mubina Rattonsey.
Apoorva Lakhia has been toying with the idea of making a film on Haseena Parkar since quite some time now. However, the director finally found the right actress in Sonakshi Sinha. Stating that Haseena was a complex personality, Apoorva mentioned that it was Sameer Antulay (Haseena Parkar's nephew) who approached him with the idea and later Mubina and Sonakshi decided to be a part of it. On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen in an author backed role in A R Murugadoss' Akira, is equally excited about playing Haseena. While she is glad about playing a character which is a complete opposite of what she is, she is also happy that her wish of doing a biopic is fulfilled.
