Sohail Khan is getting more and more active on the production front. After completing I PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN and commencing the shooting of LUCKY NO TIME FOR LOVE, Sohail is all set to start two more projects.
The first, titled FIGHT CLUB, is expected to star Sohail himself, Dino Morea, John Abraham and Suniel Shetty. To be directed by Vicky Chopra [nephew of Vidhu Vinod Chopra], the film will roll some time in April/May next year. Incidentally, Suneil will essay a negative role in the film.
It's an action film, Sohail enlightens me, It's about college students. The film, he adds, will star two heroines, who are under finalisation. Adds Sohail, At the moment, the star cast is tentative. We've the names in mind, but haven't really spoken to Anna [Suniel] and Dino.
If at all the casting remains the same, it will be a casting coup of sorts since Dino Morea and John Abraham will come face to face for the first time, in film of course.
A section of the industry is of the opinion that the two actors, not on the best of terms in real life due to their common friendship with Bipasha Basu, are averse to idea of working with each other. That's a misconception, Dino tells me, I am a thorough professional. If offered a good role by a good maker, why shouldn't I work with John?
He continues in the same breath, I wish to clear this once and for all that I have no problems with anyone, John included. We get along pretty fine when we bump into each other. Perhaps, the roles that came our way weren't tempting enough. That shouldn't be misconstrued as avoiding a film with John.
Back to Sohail! The second project he intends starting will be directed by Sohail himself. Starring Salman in the lead, the film will roll in May next year.
