Veteran singer Mahendra Kapoor and his actor-son Rohan Kapoor [who was introduced by Yash Chopra in FAASLE] have expressed a desire to start a music company. At a felicitation function organised by the Freelance Film Journalists Combine in honour of the veteran singer being awarded the Kavi Pradeep Shikhar Samman Award from the Malwa Rangmanch of Madhya Pradesh, the veteran revealed that new talents will be given adequate exposure and encouragement by his music company. The emphasis, Kapoor added, will be on classical music, not remix numbers.
