Pooja Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt and many others have been victims to such crimes, where imposters posing to be one of these celebrities dupe people in the name of giving them a break in Bollywood. And the latest to join the list is Ranveer Singh and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
Apparently, someone has been posing as Ranveer Singh in order to get in contact with aspiring actresses on social networking sites and has been asking them to send bikini pictures to his mail account. In order to establish credibility, the imposter also created fake accounts of producer Siddharth Roy Kapur to create conversations between the two which he used as a bait to attract public. Also, the person has been claiming that he would set up a meeting with Kapur and an audition will not be required for the role.
However, Siddharth and Ranveer became aware of these happening when random people in parties started approaching the two about their bikini pictures. The actor who was upset with these rumours posted on his twitter saying, "There's an imposter account on Facebook creating a nuisance. Kindly ignore." While the two celebrities were left fuming at this incident, Siddharth has even filed a complaint with the cyber cell in Mumbai.
