Shoot for Season 2 of Anil Kapoor’s 24 to start in November : Bollywood News

After the success of the Indian adaptation of the American thriller series '24', producer Anil Kapoor soon announced that he will be kick starting the season 2 of the same. However, with films and other commitments in hand, the shoot of '24' which was supposed to commence in August has now faced a delay.

From what we hear, the shoot of '24' will now start in November. Stating that they have locked dates for the season 2 of the series in early November, writer-filmmaker Rensil D'Silva mentioned that he will be directing the series alone initially until Abhinay Deo returns from the shoot of Force 2.

On the other hand, there have been speculations about the casting for Season 2 and rumours also had it that Urmila Matondkar will replace Tisca Chopra as Anil Kapoor's wife. However, quashing these rumours, Rensil maintained that Tisca indeed will be a part of the show as Anil's wife and a few other new names will be added in the star cast but did not divulge any details on the same.

The makers are planning to start airing the show by early January next year.
