Though she was one of the divas of the 90s, Shilpa Shetty decided to stay away from acting in films for a while now. The actress, who has turned entrepreneur and producer of Bollywood films, has now decided to start up with a new venture. While she has started her spa line and the recent Satyug Gold, the actress will now turn designer.
Known for her stylish image in films as well as trendy public appearances, Shilpa Shetty Kundrahas decided to design sarees.Expressing her love for sarees, Shilpa stated that she has often been appreciated for her choice of sarees. In fact, previously, the actress used to pick up sarees often and add a new touch to it that suits her tastes and that's how she decided to start with her own line of sarees. However, Shilpa wants the sarees to be available at an affordable price. She maintained that she had to keep in mind the budget of working women and hence unlike designer sarees that normally cost lakhs, the range of Shilpa's designer sarees will start from Rs. 4000. Shilpa further also revealed that she wants to keep the design expensive, dressy, modern and affordable.
