Shemaroo unleashes Big B

Renowned BJP stalwart Shatrughan Sinha and producer-director Shashi Ranjan paid a visit to Pakistan to attend the birthday bash of Zain Zia [daughter of late Pakistan President General Zia-Ul-Haq] in Islamabad.

The next day, a special dinner was hosted by Saddrudin Hashmi [ace business tycoon and hotelier] in honour of Sinha. The venue was packed with the whos who of Pakistans upper crust, including the highly amiable Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz, along with Interior Minister, Education Minister and a host of other glitterati.

On their trip to Lahore, Sinha and Ranjan had an audience with the Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Ilahi. The conversation veered from the blessed times of the blooming Indo-Pak camaraderie, presently to the oneness of art and culture between the two.

Both Sinha and Ranjan urged the C.M. that since there are no restrictions on Pak performers in India for their shows, the same should happen vice versa also. They also stressed that the two countries are cultural twins and a fusion of the two in this genre will help tremendously in creating a bridge between them.

The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing and agreed to these proposals, in principle. He has assured that genuine attempts will be made to carry these out, at their end.

Both Sinha and Ranjan have returned with an upbeat mood and are full of hope that these horizons will at last be scaled.
