Superstition comes with failure. And looks like irrational prejudice has not spared even Bollywood's confident superhero Shah Rukh Khan. Why else would he be rushing for the jyotishi's advice? Rumour mill is abuzz with gupshup about Shah Rukh's rendezvous with one of Mumbai's hotshot astrologers these days. And we don't blame the poor guy. He hasn't seen a hit for more than a year-and-a-half now -- quite a bad deal for a someone who doesn't hesitate to flaunt his superstar tag all the time. His "novel" idea about performing at weddings has been booed at even by diehard fans. Worse, all that hoopla about his maiden co-production venture came to nothing, with "Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani" falling flat on the face. And finally, the nagging twin-injury to his knee and ankle, that has been plaguing him for quite sometime now, worsened and the Khan had to retire to a Vienna nursing home for surgery. But now that he is recuperating, Shah Rukh has decided to take no more chances. So, when the jyotishi told him his good luck streak begins only after June 2, 2000, Shah Rukh promptly convinced Mansoor Khan, director of his forthcoming "Josh", to postpone the film's release date. "Josh" was scheduled for May 26 and will now release on the first Friday of June.
