Shaan is going the Sonu Nigam way. The handsome singer, we learn, is planning to take up acting. Though he was seen in a small role in Kalpana Lajmi's DAMAN opposite Raima Sen, he gave up acting completely reasoning that acting is not his forte. But the rumour mills insist that he has made his mind to cut down on singing assignments and concentrate on acting. When we enquire about it, Shaan laughs it off saying, I am not cut out for acting. I cannot be your conventional Bollywood hero running around trees and singing songs. First let me establish myself as a singer, only then will I think of acting. But isn't he been getting acting offers? I have been receiving acting offers, but I am not interested in them. Singing is my priority at the moment.
