Keeping in mind the current depressing phase at the box-office, several film-makers have either decided to adopt the wait and watch attitude, or opt for making medium-budget films. Ketan Manmohan Desai, whose last film YEH HAI JALWA failed to create any 'jalwa' at the box-office, belongs to the latter category. Ketan has decided to announce three films in the coming months, one of which will be in English. In fact, Ketan has already registered a title for the English film it's called SEX DRUGS AND ROCK & ROLL. Actually, I liked the title and promptly registered it, though I may/may not retain the title after I complete the film, Ketan states. What he doesn't deny is that he's in the process of starting three films. Times have changed and it's about time that the mindset of the film-makers undergoes a change as well, Ketan says, That's precisely the reason why I've decided to make films that are economically viable. Continuing after a pause, he asserts, Everything is in the pipeline at the moment. A clearer picture will emerge in a few months from now. But I'm sure to start the projects this year itself.
