Madhur Bhandarkar believes in the maxim, Slow and steady wins the race. It's been over a year since CHANDNI BAR had released and though Madhur continues to be in the news vis-?is new announcements, he's not had a single release since CHANDNI BAR. His next release will be SATTA, which is scheduled for release on December 27, after which he will start work on POLICE FORCE. While on SATTA, Madhur denies that the film has gone over-budget. I've shot the film on actual locations in Mumbai, instead of spending huge amounts on expensive sets and outdoor locations. The budget is very much under control, he states. Sounding bitter that a section of the industry is out to pull him down, Madhur adds that he could've signed all the projects that came his way, but he decided to pick and choose his assignments. I believe in concentrating on one film at a time. And completing it within a fixed budget, he adds.
