KAANTE has just been completed and Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta are all set to start a new project for their White Feather Productions. It will be a bigger project than KAANTE, Gupta tells me, adding in the same breath, The surprise is, the film will not be directed by me but by someone else. We have been sworn to secrecy, so cant divulge the name of the director as of now!
The project, titled PLAN, will obviously star Sanjay Dutt in the central role, with five/six youngsters in pivotal roles. The only condition we have set with the director-to-be and all members of the cast and technical crew is that they should not concentrate on any other project till they complete our film, Gupta reveals.
He elaborates, We intend completing the shooting of PLAN in a start-to-finish spell. Thats precisely how we managed to complete KAANTE within three months of its launch. And thats the way White Feather will plan all its future projects, Gupta adds.
