It has been a while now with rumors floating around that co producers of Illuminati Films, Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan, were contemplating parting ways. Now we hear that the duo who together started Illuminati Films together have decided to go their separate ways. Confirming the split, Saif Ali Khan commented saying that from now on, Illuminati Films will be only his company, while Dinesh Vijan will head his own company called Maddock Films. However, the duo will still co-produce films together, though it will be under a different banner that is yet to be named.
As for the split, it is learnt that the duo have been contemplating the same for the past four years. But the final decision to split was taken a week after their last co-production Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. Further talking about the split, Saif Ali Khan states that the decision was amicable and profitable to both since now they can individually produce films they believe in.
However, the PR for Illuminati Films denied the story stating that Illuminati Films will continue to be jointly owned by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan. Further stating that Saif and Dinesh, will also produce films separately and independently under their respective banners.
